Rice in the Mix with Pro Sports Attorney
G’Mitri Rice Hires Rex Sports Agency Powered by Pro Sports Attorney
G’mitri Rice hires Pro Sports Attorney, Kevin L. Hagen, Esquire, to represent him with his professional basketball career. Even quicker than his shot release, Rice signs with the Inmaculada Asia Basketball Club to play the 2015 Liga Nacional season.
“Smart, mild-mannered high flying dunk master who loves the game,” as Hagen describes Rice and continues stating that “his dedication and determination to succeed is evident on the court where it counts.”
ESPN analysts report that “Rice is an athletic, driving 2-3 combo that can handle the ball and elevate at 15'.” The scouting reports boldly state that he “...carries their [referring to his brother and father, Glen Rice Jr. and Glen Rice Sr.] high basketball IQ and is as good if not a better.”
Rice started his professional career in the Nicaraguan League while playing for Toros del Norte in the Summer 2014. While looking to continue his career, and after extensive consideration, Rice decided to hire an attorney agent to assist him.
“This is a guy that I would want on my team,” explains Jared Fink, Director of Player Relations and Basketball Operations for the agency. Fink fielded many calls and e-mails regarding Rice’s availability from teams in South America, Europe and Asia. “Each time that I have seen Rice on the court in competitive play, he outperforms, outplays and outsmarts the competition,” Fink adds.
Rather than participating in additional combines for other international teams, Rice decided to accept the Inmaculada’s offer to be the starting guard in Lima, Peru. The opportunity and exposure through September and the playoffs are expected to be high for Rice.
As the Captain for his Walton High School basketball team in Marietta, Georgia, Rice showed his natural leadership ability and high basketball knowledge, understanding and techniques fostered by his NBA All-Star and MVP father, Glen Rice, who played most of his career with the Miami Heat and won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The expectations for his son, G’Mitri Rice, are the same, but he knows that such success takes hard work. Such work has been rewarded with his most recent contract and ultimately will be with a team in the National Basketball Association.
