Media Registration for SportAccord World Mind Games is now open

Lausanne, 10 October 2012 - Registration for 2012 SportAccord World Mind Games is now open to all members of broadcast, print and Internet media who wish to report from the event.




The second edition of SportAccord World Mind Games will take place from 12-19 December 2012 in Beijing, China in the Beijing International Convention Centre and Beijing Continental Grand Hotel. This multi-sport event which highlights the great value of mind sports will include five sports; Bridge, Chess, Draughts, Go and Xiangqi (Chinese Chess). The world’s best players will deliver top-level performances and create new valuable experiences based on intelligence, strategy and exercise of mind. SportAccord World Mind Games online tournament organised from September until October gives fans from around the world the chance to win the trip to the event in Beijing.

SportAccord Multi-Sports Games
SportAccord is the umbrella organisation for 107 international sports federations and organisations.
