PREVIEW: Philadelphia Fever at FC Indiana

If FC Indiana is to continue their ascend in WPSL Elite standings they must dig-in like they did at Philadelphia and Chesapeake Charge just last week when they earned 1-0 and 2-2 results respectively.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN July 2, 2012 - FC Indiana will host Philadelphia Fever on Thursday, 7:00PM at Invaders Complex in South Bend. 

If FC Indiana is to continue their ascend in WPSL Elite standings they must dig-in like they did at Philadelphia and Chesapeake Charge just last week when they earned 1-0 and 2-2 results respectively.
“Against Philadelphia we knew before the game that it would be difficult. But what I liked very much is that we were very patient, intelligent and calm," said FC Indiana coach Shek Borkowski.
“We were not as sharp or fluent as we can be but we were intelligent and didn’t make a defensive mistake.”
“When we went to Philadelphia and Baltimore, we were behind them in the standings. We have had two good performances and got four points. So for us it’s important to continue to push forward now. 

A victory on Thursday will take FC Indiana within four points of New England Mutiny. It would be as near as Borkowski's side have been to playoff places this season.
Philadelphia is winless this season with a 0-7-2 record and in the last place in the league standings but Borkowski is far from underestimating the Fever.
"The margins in this league are paper-thin and nothing short of good performance will get you the points. The Fever has good players, most of their losses were by a goal and it will be very difficult Thursday," warned Borkowski.
