Federation of International Lacrosse and International Mind Sports Association are new SportAccord Members




Quebec City, 25 May 2012 - The annual General Assembly of SportAccord which took place in Quebec City, Canada voted for accepting two new members to join the organisation; Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) and International Mind Sports Association (IMSA). SportAccord warmly welcomes the new members.

In brief speeches, the President of FIL Mr Stan Cockerton and the President of IMSA
Mr Jose Damiani expressed their gratitude for the decision. Both organisations see the membership as an opportunity for increased cooperation, access to services and promotion.

The decision increases the number of SportAccord members to 107.
