The most prestigious Modern Pentathlon event, the Champion of Champions is making its long awaited comeback on 29-30 October 2011 in the picturesque Sicily, Italy.

All the Champion Modern Pentathletes from the past few years have been invited to the south of Italy to battle it out for the €50,000 prize money at stake.

The Champion of Champions was 1st held in London in 1979 where Janusz Peciak was crowned the winner. This was the 1st ever Pentathlon conducted in one day and was the catalyst of the full time change.

Not only will a star studded Champion of Champions be held, a national Biathle will be held on the 23rd and a laser shooting seminar will be conducted on the 27/28 October where all the UIPM National Federations can come and learn in more depth about the laser shooting technology.
