2011 SJA British Sports Awards

The Annual SJA British Sports Awards are set to take place on December 7 and will once again attract a glittering cast of the UK's biggest sports stars, their sponsors and guests, all welcomed by SJA President Sir Michael Parkinson.

The lunchtime awards ceremony will honour and recognise the achievements of British sportsmen and women across the past year in a convivial atmosphere at Covent Garden's Grand Connaught Rooms.

Popular TV sports presenters Jim Rosenthal and John Inverdale will host the awards and announce the winning individuals and teams as voted for by the members of the Sports Journalists' Association of Great Britain (SJA).

The SJA Sports Awards enjoy unique status as the only awards voted for exclusively by Britain's' leading sports Journalists. As such, sportsmen and women consider winning an SJA Sports Award as the highest accolade of its kind.

Recent past winners include Jenson Button, Sir Chris Hoy, Rebecca Adlington, Paula Radcliffe, A.P. McCoy and Jessica Ennis.
