The Game Changer: Alltech's Pearse Lyons profiled on PegasusTV
The Game Changer: Dr. Pearse Lyons, a half hour television special produced by SportsQuest International, LLC (SQI) has been delivered to PegasusTV for broadcast systemwide throughout the fall.
The presentation is built around an extensive interview with Alltech's Founder and President, Dr. Pearse Lyons, conducted at the company's Kentucky headquarters by SQI's Senior Producer Melvin H. Cox.
Based in Nicholasville, Kentucky, Alltech employs over 1,500 people in 85 countries. The company was the title sponsor of the hugely successful 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) in Kentucky, and has recently been announced as the title sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games Normandy 2014 in France.
Topics covered in the interview include the impact of the 2010 WEG on Alltech, the company's core operating philosophies, Dr. Lyons' vision for expansion of the equestrian sports and Alltech's commitment to development in earthquake ravaged Haiti.
A native of Ireland, Pearse Lyons received his B.S. (biochemistry) and M.S. (brewing technology) from University College Dublin (Ireland). After receiving his Ph.D. (yeast biochemistry) from the University of Birmingham (UK), he had a distinguished career in the beverage industries of Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
