What Sports Journalists Need to Know About the NCAA Enforcement Process in 60 Minutes

The Michael L. Buckner Law Firm invites you to participate in a complimentary one-hour webinar designed for sports journalists and other media professionals on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 12 noon-1:00 pm EDT (9:00 am-10:00 am PDT). The workshop, "What Sports Journalists Need to Know About the NCAA Enforcement Process in 60 Minutes," will provide participants with an overview of investigations of alleged NCAA rules-violations at colleges and universities. Participants will be able to use the seminar to gain a better understanding of the NCAA enforcement process-which will assist journalists in preparing articles and features on universities under NCAA scrutiny. The seminar will be conducted by college sports investigator Michael L. Buckner, an attorney and licensed private investigator with the Michael L. Buckner Law Firm.
 
The workshop will use a PowerPoint presentation (via a web-based system) and conference call format to provide participants with a summary on each step in the NCAA enforcement process. Over the course of the workshop, participants will learn how NCAA and university investigators: process allegations; interview witnesses; develop infractions reports and other documents; and prepare for infractions hearings.
 
There is no cost for credentialed sports journalists, but registration is limited to the first 30 media organizations.
 
The program is designed with plenty of time for interaction and discussion about the session content.
