ANNECY 2018 PRESIDENT ON THE ROAD IN BARCELONA

Annecy 2018 President, Charles Beigbeder was today at the Global Sports Forum on the latest of his international trips in support of the French bid for the Winter and Paralympic Games.

Whilst at the event, he had a number of informal meetings with sports officials, athletes and commercial sponsors to discuss Annecy's bid.

Speaking in Barcelona, Charles Beigbeder commented: "We are now in the international phase of our campaign and Annecy's main priority is to be meeting people from the sporting world to discuss our vision of an authentic Games that would benefit Winter sports everywhere.

"I am enormously grateful to everyone I have met today for their advice. It is important for us to be listening to people from around the world and learning from their experiences. The Global Sports Forum attended by experts and administrators from a range of sports from all over the world has given us a great opportunity to do this.

"I look forward to sharing our plans for Annecy 2018 with more people from the sporting world over the coming weeks and months."
