Contemporary Group Count Down to London

7 times Gold Sponsors, The Contemporary Group are preparing for a very busy week at the SportAccord Convention in London.

It has been an action packed 12 months for the group who collectively trained and mobilized over 60,000 event staff and volunteers in 2010 across hundreds of sporting, entertainment and political events.  Their presence at the SportAccord Convention in Dubai last year directly followed completion of their impressive work for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games where they successfully recruited, trained and deployed over 11,200 volunteers and staff in Event Services and Security.  Later in the year came their work with the G8/G20 Summits in Toronto and the US Open Tennis Championships, which included executive/VIP protection, player escorts, on-court protection, anti-doping teams, and staffing for other critical security positions.

2011 has shown no signs of slowing down with more key services to be provided to the sport and entertainment industries, including the recent renewal of a five-year partnership contract with the NBA's annual Jam Session - a highly popular event where fans meet players.  Anna Hellman commented "It is a privilege to welcome The Contemporary Group as our Gold Sponsors for the 7th year in a row.  It has been fantastic to follow the growth and development of such a committed and passionate group of people.
