Greg Dyke, Alan Rutherford, Ken Schofield and Trevor Watkins join Sports Revolution Advisory Board.
Former BBC Director General Greg Dyke has joined Sports Revolution’s new Advisory Board. The fast-growing media rights and marketing agency has also signed International Advertising Association Chairman Alan Rutherford.

Former BBC Director General Greg Dyke has joined Sports Revolution’s new Advisory Board.
The fast-growing media rights and marketing agency has also signed International Advertising Association Chairman Alan Rutherford and former European PGA Tour Executive Director Ken Schofield to join its Advisory Board, along with the leading sports lawyer Trevor Watkins.
Sports Revolution Chairman Chris Ingram, himself one of the best-known figures in the media industry, assembled the all-star team.

Greg Dyke
Greg Dyke was Director General of the BBC from 2000 to 2004. During this time, he started four new digital television channels, five new digital radio channels, opened two new BBC regions, launched the BBC's interactive television services and helped create Freeview.
Greg was also Chief Executive of Pearson Television - building it into the largest non-US independent production company in the world. Previously, he served as Group Chief Executive of LWT and guided the consortium which created Channel 5, becoming its first chairman.
A football enthusiast, Greg was a non-Executive Director of Manchester United Football Club (1997-99) and in 2006 became Chairman of Brentford Football Club.
Alan Rutherford
Alan Rutherford is World Chairman and Global President of the International Advertising Association. With 4,000 members in 76 countries, the IAA sets and maintains the standards in the advertising and marketing industry.
Alan's previous roles include Global CEO of Digitas, which he transformed into the world’s largest digital network, and Worldwide Head of Media and Marketing Services at Unilever, the world’s second largest advertiser.
Alan recently chaired the IAA World Congress in Moscow and opened the Chinese International Advertising festival, sponsored by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.
Ken Schofield
Ken has firmly established himself as one of the leading rights holders and administrators in sport. He transformed the European PGA Tour into the second largest tour globally during a 30-year period as Executive Director.
Along with increasing the tour’s turnover from below £100,000 to over £200 million, Ken was instrumental in the development and success of the Ryder Cup.
In 2006, Ken was appointed by the ECB to conduct an enquiry into the state of English cricket, following the national side’s collapse in the Ashes Series that year.
Nineteen of the report’s 20 recommendations were adopted, leading to a dramatic turnaround in the fortunes of the national game in 2010.
Outside of golf, Ken is a passionate supporter of Scottish football club St Johnstone and keen follower of athletics and cricket.
Trevor Watkins
Trevor is recognised as one of the world’s top 20 most influential sports lawyers by Sport Business. His international reputation has been gained through extensive work in finance, commercial rights and development projects within the sports industry. A partner at Clarke Willmott in London, his experience also includes five years as a Director and Chairman of AFC Bournemouth, being a Founding Director of Supporters Direct and a divisional representative to the board of the Football League.

Chris is regarded as the inventor of the modern media agency, having started The Media Department (TMD) in 1972 and Chris Ingram Associates (CIA) in 1976, which he built into an international, publicly-quoted business (Tempus Group) with a turnover of over $4 billion. The business was sold to WPP in 2001 for £430 million and is now Mediadge:cia.
In 2008, he was honoured in Campaign’s Hall of Fame as one of those who have helped to shape the UK’s advertising industry over the last 40 years.
Through Ingram Enterprise, he is now an active investor, helping entrepreneurs and SMEs build their businesses in the media, digital and sport sectors
He is chairman and owner of Woking Football Club.
Towards the end of 2009, Chris acquired a majority stake in Sports Revolution - the largest media rights owner in UK football stadia advertising.
The company has contractual relationships with 72 clubs across all the leagues, including 16 in the Premier League.

Its senior management has a wealth of experience in media and sport. Managing Director Antony Marcou’s career spans media owners and agencies, while Commercial Director Vange Kourentis is a former Head of Business Development at Manchester United.
In August 2010 Sports Revolution expanded into social media with the acquisition of a 40 percent stake in Sn@ck Media - a sport-focused digital publishing company with an audience of two million unique sports enthusiasts every month.
