US SAILING Signs Gill North America as Official Technical Apparel Sponsor
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. (March 1, 2011) - US SAILING, the National Governing Body of the sport, announced today that a multi-year partnership agreement with Gill North America, the North American importer and distributor of the Gill brand, to be the official technical apparel sponsor of US SAILING. Gill is an apparel and accessories leader in the worldwide marine industry.
“US SAILING is thrilled to take our partnership with Gill to the next level,” said Jack Gierhart, Executive Director of US SAILING. “Gill has set the standard for marine high-performance apparel and accessories. The sponsorship agreement includes direct financial support for the organization, including support for US SAILING National Championship events and Junior Olympic Festivals. Members of US SAILING will have opportunities to purchase Gill products at a discounted price.
