University of Wisconsin Remains No. 1 in USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Wisconsin remains No. 1 in this week's USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine Women's College Hockey Poll following a weekend sweep of No. 8 University of North Dakota. The Badgers, who boast a 28-2-2 record, accumulated 184 points and 13 first-place votes to earn the top spot for the seventh week in a row.
Cornell University sits at No. 2 with 177 points and six first-place votes after earning victories over Brown University and Yale University, while the University of Minnesota (136) advances one place to No. 3 after twice defeating Bemidji State University. Boston University (134) claims the No. 4 spot following a weekend sweep of Northeastern University, while Mercyhurst College (127) rounds out the top five following two wins over Syracuse University.
Dartmouth College returns to the poll at No. 10 after garnering wins over St. Lawrence University and Clarkson University.
This week features two top-10 match-ups, with No. 2 Cornell University visiting No. 10 Dartmouth College and No. 3 University of Minnesota traveling to No. 8 University of North Dakota for a weekend series.
