U.S. ARMY ALL-AMERICAN BOWL SHOWCASES FUTURE FOOTBALL STARS LIVE THIS SATURDAY ON NBC SPORTS

Ninety of the nation’s top high school football players take the field in a classic East vs. West match up at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas on January 8th at 1 p.m. ET

NEW YORK - Jan. 6, 2011 - Broncos QB Tim Tebow, Vikings RB Adrian Peterson, Jets QB Mark Sanchez, Ravens DT Haloti Ngata and Lions DT Ndamukong Suh are some of the famous alumni of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl, the nation’s premier high school football all-star game, which plays its 11th contest this Saturday at 1 p.m. ET live on NBC Sports.

Bob Papa will call the action with former Notre Dame and NFL offensive tackle Aaron Taylor providing analysis. Also providing commentary are reporters Lewis Johnson and Marty Snider, and high school football recruiting expert Tom Lemming.

“History has proven that many of the players in this game will be collegiate record-setters, Heisman trophy-winners, and eventual first-round draft picks,” said Taylor. “I'm genuinely excited to get a sneak peek into the future difference makers of college football.”

Ninety of the nation’s top high school football players take the field in a classic East vs. West match up at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, to give fans a sneak peek at some of the nation’s top college prospects, including Rivals No. 1 overall rated player, DL Jadeveon Clowney (Rock Hill S.C.; South Pointe High).

One of the game’s most exciting traditions continues this year when a number of currently undecided players - including DB/WR Odell Beckham (New Orleans; Isidore Newman High School), S Wayne Lyons (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Dillard High School), RB Damian Swann (Atlanta; Grady High School), DE Ishaq Williams (Brooklyn; Abraham Lincoln High School), DT Viliami Moala (Sacramento; Grant High School) and S James Sample, (Sacramento; Grant High School) - will announce their college choice live on the air during the game.
