TNT's coverage of the NBA's Miami Heat at Cleveland Cavaliers Game delivers a 4.2 U.S. HH Rating and 7.1 million Total Viewers
2010-11 NBA on TNT season up over 38% in Ratings, Total Viewers, Households and All Key Demos
TNT delivered 7,052,000 million total viewers, 4,867,000 million
households and a 4.2 U.S. HH rating for one of the most anticipated
regular season games of the year, as two-time NBA MVP LeBron James’
returned to Cleveland with his new team, the Miami Heat, to take on
the Cleveland Cavaliers (8 p.m. ET). Locally the game, won by the Heat
118-90 behind James’ 38 points and eight assists, also delivered huge
audiences in Miami (25.4 HH rating) and Cleveland (14.9 HH rating).
Overall, the NBA on TNT continues to deliver strong ratings and
audiences for the network showing impressive gains in ratings,
households, total viewers and all key demos. Through the first 14
games of the season the network is averaging the following over last
year's corresponding coverage.

TNT’s exclusive coverage of the NBA continues on Thursday, Dec. 9,
with a doubleheader featuring the defending Eastern Conference
Champion Boston Celtics visiting the Philadelphia 76ers (8 p.m. ET),
followed by four-time NBA All-Star Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic
taking on LaMarcus Aldridge and the Portland Trail Blazers (10:30 p.m.
ET).
