World Combat Games 2010: China leads medal table

Beijing, Sep 1: 5 days into the SportAccord World Combat Games 51 of 119 gold medals have been awarded. The competitions in Sumo, Wushu, Aikido, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, and Karate are already successfully completed.




With 10 gold medals, host country China is leading the medal table, followed by Russia (7) and France (4). The results and complete medal table can be found on http://www.worldcombatgames.com.
The finals in Boxing, Muaythai, Wrestling, Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Kendo and Sambo are still to come. The Closing Ceremony will be on September 4 in the athletes’ village.
