Muaythai fans wait with anticipation as momentum builds just a day away for the first ever World Combat Games to begin.
1108 athletes dedicated months to training routines, stories afloat with the sacrifices endured by athletes who have fought their way through the qualifiers.
Now in Beijing, they are charged with determination, emotion and aspiration to become one of the winners with 136 Gold Medals awaiting their name as the Inaugural SportAccord Combat Games strikes up.
The games represent Martial Arts and Combat Sports across 13 codes, coming from five continents over 8 days of competition.
Through the World Combat Games, a community has formed with nations from around the world who now share friendship, respect, sportsmanship and rewarding competitiveness.
