TAMPA/LONDON/BERLIN, August, 19th 2010: In an amazing cooperation, Linda Argila, Professional Fundraiser and Founder of Challenge to Triumph, and Kristin Boese, World Champion Kiteboarder and Founder of KB4girls, join forces to support Victims of Domestic Violence on September 25th and 26th, 2010.
While Linda and Kristin's mutual passion for kiteboarding brought them together it was not long after they met when they realized that they can empower others even better by getting together in their affords for an amazing event. The idea of DREAM EXTREME was born.
Linda Argila says: "Kiting gives me strength and reinforces my self-confidence. It gives me that needed spark to recharge my spirit and attitude, creating positive energy in my life."
Kristin Boese has to say: "Kiteboarding has changed my life. I am inspired to give back by bringing kiting to women worldwide through the KB4girls kiting clinics. The artistry and skill involved in kiteboarding resonates with females in particular, and every smile, every success story, every happy kiter, gives me new motivation to spread the power of kiting further."
Both women want to take this positive energy they gain by kiteboarding and channel it into help for those in need, making DREAM EXTREME an event that combines kiteboarding with fundraising.
The event will benefit two nonprofit organizations - STEPS to End Family Violence, NYC(an Edwin Gould program) and The Retreat, East Hampton, who are both reaching out to those escaping domestic violence by supplying shelter, educating families and communities, promoting healing among victims and advocating toward an enhanced community understanding of domestic violence.
While many beach activities will be offered for those supporting the cause the KB4girls kiteboarding clinic, part of the DREAM EXTREME event, will continue to focus on empowering females through kiteboarding by teaching them the sport and/or helping them to improve their skills.
Kristin Boese: "This event is going to be amazing for everyone joining and a lot of fun. I am proud to be part of DREAM EXTREME with KB4girls and to be able to help to reach out to many children and women in need. The support for the event is absolutely amazing which enables us to supply a lot more to the KB4girls participants too. With 15 instructors, boat support, beach catering and much more they will experience the most amazing KB4girls event yet."
Sponsorship packages, support packages and tickets to the Dinner Dance Party Are available to everyone that wants to support DREAM EXTREME and their cause. All participating girls as well as trainers also set a personal fundraising goal to be able to do their bit for the Victims of Domestic Violence.

About KB4girls
KB4girls is a non-profit worldwide clinic tour for female kiteboarders that was launched in November 2009 by Kristin Boese. While the tour gives female athletes from around the world the chance to get together for a fun time together it also motivates them to push their kiteboarding skills to the next level and possibly start to compete in kiteboarding.
Another goal of the KB4girls events is to support the Surfrider Foundation Europe and the protection of the oceans and beaches. While registration fees are being donated to the Foundation educational materials are being supplied in return and given out to all participating girls, teaching them about their precious playgrounds and how to possibly help to protect them.
STEPS to End Family Violence - NYC
STEPS To End Family Violence, a program of Edwin Gould Services for Children and Families, has served survivors of domestic and dating violence in New York City since 1986. Their work is criti- cal, focusing on educating families and communities about violence prevention, promoting healing among victims, and advocating toward an enhanced community understanding of domestic violence.

The Retreat - East Hampton

Since 1987 The Retreat has provided comprehensive services including shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children and the region's only 24-hour crisis hotline. http://www.theretreatinc.org
About Linda Argila
Linda is a Professional Fundraiser, motivator and the founder of Challenge to Triumph TM.
Kiteboarding has empowered Linda to rise above challenges in her life. Ten years ago she was faced with the ultimate challenge when sentenced to one year in federal prison. While incarcerated she had a vision and upon her release she set out to use her knowledge to help children, who like her own daughter, experienced separation from their mother.
Nearly a decade later, Linda has raised more than $25 million for charity through large-scale galas and other events patronized by world renowned artists, celebrities and leaders in business and philanthropy. DREAM EXTREME is a continuation of her motivational and fundraising mission, inspiring women (and men alike) to triumph over challenge.
