SportsChances.com enables sports fans to track the chances of their favourite team or competitor winning – live during the game. These are calculated using complex statistical algorithms, live betting data and expert opinion.

Newly launched SportsChances.com (http://www.sportschances.com) enables sports fans to track the chances of their favourite team or competitor winning - live during the game.

“This is a completely new way to enjoy sports. For the first time, sports fans can see how live events on the sports field affect their team’s chances of winning,” says Gavin Symanowitz, founder of SportsChances.com. 

Symanowitz, who holds a doctorate in mathematical statistics, explains that the site makes use of complex statistical algorithms, the latest betting data and expert opinion. This enables the system to determine minute-by-minute winning probabilities for the respective teams or competitors.

Sports fans who are not sitting in front of their computers can receive Twitter updates throughout the match, or view a page specially formatted for the mobile phone.

SportsChances.com has created a unique widget which can be displayed on any other website. “This means that any website can add value to its users by displaying live scores and chances of winning for their sport of choice”, explains Symanowitz.  “We’re focusing on the Soccer World Cup at the moment, but will be adding other sports due to the fantastic response we’ve received” he concludes.
