TAMPA/LONDON/BERLIN, May, 18: The KB4girls 2010 World Tour as it moves around the world is reaching out to the female kiteboarders in the South of Europe.

The Mediterranean village of St. Pere Pescador in the Catalonia region North of Barcelona near the French boarder was included into the calendar to cater to the Spanish as well as French girls and promises to be a very multicultural female kiteboarding camp.

From May 28th to 30th Kristin Boese will be teaching the participating girls new skills and moves. Participants will have the chance to improve their kiteboarding and get to meet new friends in sport. She will also be joined at the clinic by amazing pro rider Ania Grezlinska from Poland who now calls Spain her second home.

"To have an event in the South of Europe be part of our KB4girls tour was very important to me as female kiteboarding in Spain, France and also Italy is growing quickly. I am very happy about the huge interest in this event and truly excited to be kiting with all the Spanish and French girls. I just hope my linguistic knowledge will be good enough to teach everything I want to pass on." says Kristin Boese, organizer of KB4girls

Enrico Zanvettor, Pure Action Sports Area Manager: "I think the KB4girls event in St. Pere Pescador is a very interesting opportunity for the girls in Barcelona and surroundings to get together and meet each other. The spot is great for learning and hopefully the wind is going to be with us too. I am sure it is going to be a great
weekend."

With the local supported of Ballena Alegre Camping, POPKITE, Pure Action Sports and Best Kiteboarding this event will not only offer a great opportunity for girls to improve their kiteboarding skills but also a great all around program on and off the water.

The beautiful seaside destination of St Pere Pescador is situated by the River Fluvià, St. Pere is in the middle of the Gulf of Roses, one of the most beautiful bay areas of the Western Mediterranean. About KB4girls

KB4girls is a non-profit worldwide clinic tour for female kiteboarders that was launched in November 2009 by Kristin Boese. While the tour gives female athletes from around the world the chance to get together for a fun time together it also motivates them to push their kiteboarding skills to the next level and possibly start to compete in kiteboarding.

Another goal of the KB4girls events is to support the Surfrider Foundation Europe and the protection of the oceans and beaches. While registration fees are being donated to the Foundation educational materials are being supplied in return and given out to all participating girls, teaching them about their precious playgrounds and how to possibly help to protect them.

About Kristin Boese

Sports model Kristin Boese, Guinness World Record™ record-holder and nine-time world kiteboarding champion reaches out to girls around the world to sharpen their skills and learn new riding tricks. The 32-year-old from Potsdam, Germany, grew up behind the iron curtain.

A stellar student, Kristin showed interest in a wide variety of sports and ended up playing semi-professional handball for 12 years.

In summer 2002 she discovered kite-boarding and within a few months left Germany behind on her way to Fuerteventura/Spain to work at a kite and windsurf center and to dive into the sport which she has very successfully done since.  Boese has also written two instructional kite-boarding books with Christian Spreckels "Kitesurfing In The Waves: The Complete Guide" and "Kitesurfing: The Complete Guide."

She has also published a DVD "Kitesurfing - a comprehensive guide with world champion Kristin Boese." This is a complete learning program for kitesurfers of all levels.
