CHIEFS SEASON TICKET HOLDER WINS TICKETS TO SUPER BOWL XLIV

Chuck Loomis has been a Chiefs season ticket holder since ’66

The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Friday that Chuck Loomis, a 44-year Chiefs season ticket holder, is the recipient of a trip to South Florida and two tickets to Super Bowl XLIV. Loomis won the tickets to the NFL’s title game through a random drawing of all Chiefs season ticket holders. The package also includes four nights of lodging and a stipend to offset travel and other expenses.

A Chiefs season ticket holder since ‘66, Loomis has lived in Kansas City, Missouri nearly his whole life and will enter his 45th season of cheering on the Chiefs at the New Arrowhead in 2010. In fact, Loomis purchased his first color television set in January of ‘67, just in time to watch Kansas City represent the American Football League in Super Bowl I.

“In addition to going to work and family functions, supporting the Chiefs is a way of life for me,” said Loomis. He has witnessed many changes to the team and the Chiefs organization throughout his longtime relationship with the club. Loomis recalls the transition from Municipal Stadium to Arrowhead Stadium in ‘72. “When I began attending Chiefs games they were held at Municipal Stadium. They kept adding onto Municipal until they decided to build Arrowhead Stadium.”

Loomis and other Chiefs fans will enjoy another dramatic event in franchise history when the grand opening of the New Arrowhead officially takes place this fall. This weekend, Loomis and his wife Jaqueline are attending Super Bowl XLIV compliments of the Chiefs. “The competition will be good, as well as the pageantry of the event,” he continued. “I am very much looking forward to it.”

The Kansas City Chiefs thank Chuck Loomis and all of their loyal season ticket holders for their continued support. Through random drawings, various prizes were awarded to a number of Chiefs season ticket holders throughout the club’s 50th anniversary season in 2009. Chiefs season ticket holders can anticipate even more benefits and special offers in 2010.
