Vancouver 2010 to unveil Victory Ceremonies podium and costume designs on Tuesday, February 2 at Main Press Centre in downtown Vancouver

VANCOUVER, Jan. 29 - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will unveil the artistic elements of the Victory Ceremonies on Tuesday, February 2 at the Main Press Centre in downtown Vancouver. This news conference will be accessible for media accredited for the Main Press Centre (MPC).
These artistic ceremony elements will be on display to the world when athletes receive their medals at the 2010 Winter Games. The ceremony elements include: the unique podium design and the custom-made costumes the medal/flower bearers and athlete escorts will wear. In addition, the design of the medal trays will also be introduced.
The podium and other Victory Ceremony elements will also be displayed for the media at BC Showcase, located at 800 Robson Street - Lower Plaza, time to be confirmed.
