U.S. Luge Media Day in Park City, Utah on Feb. 4th
Meet the 2010 Olympic luge team before they head to Vancouver
PARK CITY, Utah - Members of the press will have one last chance to chat in-person with the 2010 Olympic luge team before they head to Vancouver. On February 4th at the Utah Olympic Park located just outside of Park City, the team will be available at two points during the day for interviews.
Those interested in shooting action video and still photos of the team on the ice can do so during training sessions taking place from 9:00-10:30 AM and 1:00-2:15 PM local time. The team will be available briefly after the first session for interviews and for longer following the second session.
From the men’s team, Tony Benshoof of White Bear Lake, Minn., Bengt Walden of Lake Placid, N.Y. and Chris Mazdzer of Saranac Lake, N.Y. will be in attendance, while Erin Hamlin of Remsen, N.Y., Julia Clukey of Augusta, Maine and Megan Sweeney of Suffield, Conn. will represent the women’s team. The doubles teams of Mark Grimmette of Muskegon, Mich. and Brian Martin of Palo Alto, Calif. will join Christian Niccum of Woodinville, Wash. and Dan Joye, Carmel, N.Y. during the day’s training and interview sessions.
