Cleveland Cavaliers Commence 2010 Black Heritage Celebration with Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Night

Ohio Sports Legends Jim Brown, Cris Carter, Jim “Mudcat” Grant and Jimmy Jackson Make Return to the Buckeye State for Sixth Annual BHC

Cavs vs. Raptors - Tuesday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m.

The following media availability opportunities will be present tomorrow night when the Cleveland takes on the Toronto Raptors to tip-off the Cavaliers sixth annual Black Heritage Celebration (BHC), presented by State Farm Insurance.  Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Night, presented by National City, now a part of PNC and Time Warner Cable will honor this year’s class of Black Sports Legends of Ohio, which includes Jim Brown, Cris Carter, Jim “Mudcat” Grant and Jimmy Jackson.

·   Pregame: Cleveland Sports Icons Jim Brown and LeBron James will hold a joint media availability pregame outside the Cavaliers lockerroom at approximately 6:00 p.m.  There will also be a special photo opportunity of both Brown and James autographing full-blown copies of the Sports Illustrated “Lakeside Legends” Special Issue cover that featured them both on it.

·   Halftime: After the halftime recognition ceremony, the group of honorees will come off the court and hold a joint media and photo availability by the Cavaliers lockerroom.  One-on-one interviews will also be available after the joint session.
