World Cup - St. Moritz, Switzerland

ST. MORITZ, Sui.—Canada’s Pierre Lueders continued to drive his way closer back to the international podium with a sixth-place finish on Sunday in a World Cup four-man race at St. Moritz, Switzerland.

The 39-year-old Lueders and his crew of Jesse Lumsden and Neville Wright, of Edmonton, along with Justin Kripps, of Summerland, B.C., fought their way into a tie for sixth spot after posting a time of 2:10.85.

“The team did very well today and are definitely on the upswing with this positive result,” said Tuffy Latour, head coach, Canadian Bobsleigh Team. “The starts were great today, and Team Lueders continues to get better and better each race.
