ICC Chief Executives' Committee meets in Dubai next week

Among the matters up for discussion are the ICC events for the period 2012-2020 and beyond as well as update on DRS, online piracy and the Future Tours Programme post-2012

The ICC Chief Executives’ Committee (CEC) will convene in Dubai next week on Monday and Tuesday for its fourth and final meeting of 2009.

The two-day gathering, to be held at the office of the International Cricket Council (ICC) on 30 November and 1 December, will consider a range of matters relating to playing and business of cricket.

Among the items for discussion on the CEC agenda are the following:

ICC events in the Future Tours Programme 2012-2020 and beyond

The CEC will begin discussions on the location and scheduling of ICC events for the period after 2015.  In addition to this, the CEC will also consider the location of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 update

The CEC will receive an update report on preparations for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

The CEC will also receive update reports on global response to broadcast piracy and online infringements, match officials’ performances, the decision review system (DRS), the anti-racism and anti-doping codes, the FTP post-2012 and international cricket results.

The CEC comprises the chief executives of the 10 Test-playing Members and three representatives from the ICC Associate and Affiliate Members. It is chaired by the ICC Chief Executive. The ICC President and the Chairman of the ICC Cricket Committee will also be in attendance.
