Dubai - April 25-30, 2010
LAUSANNE, Switzerland – The SportAccord International Convention has opened registration for the eighth edition of the event, taking place in Dubai from April 25-30, 2010. Registrations can be made online at www.sportaccordconvention.com using a new system making it easier to reserve places and ensuring smooth ongoing communication with delegates. The setting of SportAccord 2010 will be the spectacular Atlantis The Palm Resort, the focal point of the man-made Palm Jumeirah Island. The Convention is being held in the Middle East for the first time in its history.
Delegates booking between now and February 12 will benefit from a €200 saving on the standard €1,500 delegate fee for the largest, most influential convergence of decision-makers of world sport.
The value of the SportAccord Convention is underlined by the ongoing commitment shown by Gold Sponsors. Contemporary Group, GL events, IEC in Sports and Macau Sports Development Board have all renewed their Gold Sponsor agreements for the 2010 and 2011 editions, and Sport Event Denmark has become a new Gold Sponsor, upgrading from Silver in 2009. More information on these key partnerships will be posted on the new News Alerts box on the home page of www.sportaccordconvention.com.
Every year SportAccord Week features a dynamic exhibition, numerous networking receptions and top-level conference sessions, including the City Forum, as well as the annual general meetings of the Sports Governing Bodies.
