Training and press conference schedule for Monday 21 September

ICC Champions Trophy - 22 September to 5 October

The following is the training and media conference schedule of the teams for Monday 21 September ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, which will take place from 22 September to 5 October.

 

·         Sri Lanka will hold a training session at Centurion from 1000 until around 1300. Afterwards, Sri Lanka captain Kumar Sangakkara is expected to hold a pre-match press conference. For media enquiries, please contact Sri Lanka manager Brendon Kuruppu on +27 82 377 7161

The two remaining sides, England and Australia, will arrive in Johannesburg on Tuesday 22 September after finishing their seven-match ODI series at Chester-le-Street on Sunday.

 

The two sides will hold their pre-event media activities on Wednesday 23 September. The schedule of their pre-event media activities is:

 

0845 – England captain Andrew Strauss’s presser, Syringa and Acacia Room, Sandton Sun

 

0930 – Australia captain Ricky Ponting’s presser, Syringa and Acacia Room, Sandton Sun

 

1030-1130 – Open media sessions involving England and Australia players, Maroela North, Sandton Sun
