Quotes

On if he is injured…

The hardest opponent that I face is father time. I don’t have my first-year youth. Honestly, it’s me trying to do everything in my power to maximize the longevity of my career. It’s not something that I have issues with when it comes to that. I have to understand the reality of the situation. I am not 21 anymore, I’m 30 years old and I need to start approaching the game like a 30-year old man. It’s not me trying to weasel out of work. It’s just me taking care of my business. I’m going to make sure whatever I do, I’m going to get my butt out onto the field.

On how he got hurt…

I get more bumps and bruises playing with my kids than on the football field. I don’t know what it is. They just love to run and jump up on me when I get home from football games. I have to realize these are my kids and they’re not little. It’s cool, I’m not mad at it. My family comes first.
