Gold Coast to shine for 2015 AFC Asian Cup bid

GOLD COAST - 8 September 2009

A delegation from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) will visit Robina Stadium in the Gold Coast as part of a week long inspection tour of key stadiums, training sites and hotels around the country.    The inspection tour will showcase Australia’s facilities and infrastructure in its bid to host the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.   WHAT: Visual opportunity for still cameras and TV crews of AFC stadium inspection tour   WHEN: Wednesday 9 September, 2.00pm AEST   WHERE: Robina Stadium, Centre Line Place Robina, Gold Coast
