Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra from 9-12 September

The training camp will be the final time that de Marigny will have to work with the players prior to the AFC U-16 Championship (Qualifiers) which will be held in Canberra from 6-16 October 2009.

“We will be using this camp to look at a few new players, along with the core group who have attended previous camps,” said de Marigny

“Our aim is to improve and get also some more cohesion amongst the players in the lead up to the qualifiers. We’ll play a training match against the AIS which will be a good test for the boys.

“It’s now up to all the players to show that they deserve to be in the final squad for next month’s tournament,” concluded de Marigny.

The AFC U-16 Championship 2010 will dates and venue will be determined later this year.
