FFA denies 12th team license

FFA has no knowledge of matters outlined in todays report

Football Federation Australia (FFA) notes the report in today’s ‘Sydney Morning Herald’ which makes mention of Qantas Socceroos captain, Lucas Neill, in respect of the 12th license for the Hyundai A-League. FFA has no knowledge of the matters outlined in the report.
 
FFA also notes that it has not issued a license for a 12th team in the Hyundai A-League, nor entered into exclusive negotiations with any of the competing consortia.
 
FFA is in the process of undertaking due diligence on the consortia.
