Media Registration Opens for the U.S. Olympic Team Media Summit

Sept. 9-12 Palmer House Hilton, Chicago

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - Registration for the U.S. Olympic Team Media Summit is now open.  A one stop site, 2010 Media Summit, will allow you to register for the event, book a hotel room, see the schedule and, as they are confirmed, see what athletes are attending.  The link is also posted on www.usocpressbox.org in the Media Credentials section.

This premier event provides an opportunity to preview the team’s chances for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games with hopefuls from all sports, all in one place.

Approximately 80 athletes on the winter sports program from the United States will participate in three days of media interviews at the Palmer House Hilton Hotel. The athletes will take part in press conferences, broadcast interviews, photo sessions, roundtable interviews, new media sessions and lifestyle segments before more than 300 media at the event.

The USOC has hosted the U.S. Olympic Team Media Summit each year since 1988. The host cities include Colorado Springs, Atlanta, Houston, Salt Lake City, New York City and Chicago. The event was also held in Chicago for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team for the Games in Beijing.
