BENGALS RE-SIGN BLACKSTOCK, HARRIS

The Bengals today re-signed LB Darryl Blackstock and DT Orien Harris.

 
                        Blackstock (6-3, 255; Virginia) is a fifth-year NFL player in 2009 and was one of the club’s unrestricted free agents. He played in 12 games with four starts last season, logging 17 tackles and three QB hurries on defense and five tackles on special teams. He played his first three NFL seasons (2005-07) for Arizona.
            Blackstock is the second unrestricted free agent to be retained by the Bengals during this year’s signing period, joining S Chris Crocker.
            Harris (6-3, 300; Miami-Fla.) is classified a second-year player, and the Bengals held his exclusive NFL rights. He played in 14 games for Cincinnati last season, with 22 tackles and three QB hurries.
