$1.5 MILLION UP FOR GRABS AT THE ALLI DEW TOUR FINALE, TOYOTA CHAMPIONSHIP, ON NBC & USA THIS WEEKEND

Three-Stop Tour Concludes With Olympic Gold Medalists Shaun White & Hannah Teter Vying for Their Sport’s Winter Dew Cup

NEW YORK – February 19, 2009 – Olympic gold medalists Shaun White and Hannah Teter headline a list of the world\‘s best snowboarders and freeskiers as NBC Sports presents live coverage of the Toyota Championship from Northstar-at-Tahoe, in Truckee, Calif, the third and final stop on the Alli Winter Dew Tour.  The Winter Dew Cup and a $1.5 million purse, the largest in action sports history, are on the line as the world\‘s best winter action sports athletes compete for their sport\‘s only regular season crown. NBC Sports\’ live coverage of Freestyle Skiing Slopestyle airs Saturday, 2:30 – 4 p.m. ET, and Snowboard Superpipe featuring White and Teter airs 3-6 p.m. ET on Sunday. USA Network will air late-night coverage of Snowboard Slopestyle Friday at 2 a.m. ET/PT and Freestyle Skiing Superpipe Saturday, at 1 a.m. ET/PT.

NBC\‘s Pat Parnell (play-by-play), Todd Richards (analyst), Luke Van Valin (freeskiing analyst), Tina Dixon and Tiffany Simons (reporters) call the action from Northstar-at-Tahoe.

NBC SATURDAY, 2:30 PM ET: FREESTYLE SKIING SLOPESTYLE
The men\‘s freestyle skiing slopestyle competition is currently the closest race on the tour as JF Houle and Per-Kristian Hunder come into the finale tied for first with 165 points each. However, 17-year-old Bobby Brown, sits only five points behind them with 160 points. Earning his first major win on the first Winter Dew stop in Breckenridge, Brown is a young and serious contender to take home the Cup and the $1.5 million prize purse.

NBC SUNDAY, 3 PM ET: SNOWBOARD SUPERPIPE
White currently leads the snowboard superpipe competition by 15 points, after earning his first tour victory last month in Mount Snow. Currently in second place, Danny Davis is White\‘s biggest threat to the Winter Dew Cup after beating White by only one point in Breckenridge. This weekend\‘s snowboard superpipe finale looks to be a close competition between White and Davis, with third place Scotty Lago sitting only 45 points out of first.

The women\‘s competition is a fight between two Olympic gold medalists – Kelly Clark and Hannah Teter, who currently sit in first and second place, respectively. Mount Snow native, Clark won last month\‘s event in her hometown, which placed her in the lead for the Dew Cup by 25 points over Teter. However, Teter has gotten to a close second place in the Dew standings without winning one tour stop, so the Toyota Championship could be her first tour win and possibly help her overcome Clark to secure the Dew Cup.

ABOUT THE WINTER DEW TOUR:
