The trophy, which will be competed for by the eight ICC Full Members, has the following details:

Description: The trophy consists of a sterling silver gilt spun cricket ball with hand engraved world map, mounted to the main body of two sterling silver panels of heavy gauge that have a soft feminine tapered line to them. The main body is connected to the simple spun foot by a silver gilt collar. A black lacquered plinth with silver mounted cricket ball engraving plaques – of similar design to the men’s Cricket World Cup trophy - completes the piece.

The ICC Women’s World Cup, which will be the first to be played under the auspices of the ICC since its merger with the International Women’s Cricket Council (IWCC) in 2005, will see 25 matches take place in New South Wales and Australian Capital Territory between 7 and 22 March.
The tournament begins with Pakistan playing India at the Bradman Oval and England taking of Sri Lanka at the Manuka Oval. The event will culminate with the final at the North Sydney Oval.
