FIRST OFFICIAL PARTNER SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF INTENT FOR SINGAPORE 2010 YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES
Deloitte Singapore will provide consultancy and financial services for the Games in 2010
Singapore, 2 February 2009 – The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) and Deloitte Singapore have signed a Memorandum of Intent
(MOI), under which Deloitte Singapore – the Official Consultancy Services Provider for the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) – will provide consultancy and
financial services for the Games in 2010.
As the first Official Partner, Deloitte Singapore will provide strategic consultancy advice in areas including risk management, auditing and compliances, as well as
financial and tax accounting services. Deloitte Singapore will also offer project management services in areas such as functions dependencies study, enterprise risk management, processes review and enhancement.

Singapore will be hosting the inaugural Youth Olympic Games (YOG) from 14 to 26 August 2010. The Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games will receive some 3,600
athletes and 800 officials from the 205 National Olympic Committees (NOCs), along with an estimated 800 media representatives, 20,000 local and international volunteers, and more than 500,000 spectators. Young athletes - aged between 14 and 18 years - will compete in 26 sports and take part in cultural and educational activities.
