Media accreditation for FIFA Confederations Cup will open on 2 February
Applications may be made exclusively via the FIFA Media Channel.
The media accreditation procedure for the FIFA Confederations Cup South Africa 2009 will begin on 2 February. Applications may be made exclusively via the FIFA Media Channel. The deadline for applications is 22 February 2009. Please note that applications on paper or by email cannot be accepted. Successful applicants will be notified and provided with further information in due course. All applications are subject to confirmation. Also, please be advised that international applicants are responsible for their own visas.
The FIFA Confederations Cup will be staged from 14 – 28 June in four venues across South Africa; namely Johannesburg, Pretoria/Tshwane, Rustenburg and Bloemfontein/Mangaung. Media representatives who have not already registered for the FIFA Media Channel are requested to do so at http://media.fifa.com as early as possible. The FIFA Media Channel is a registration-only area on FIFA.com providing media professionals with tailored content. Please note only registered individuals can apply for accreditation to FIFA events.
