USA Climbing announces the ABS-10 National Championships

Boulder, CO – The USA Climbing American Bouldering Series National Championships, powered by The North Face, will be held at The Spot Gym and the Boulder Rock Club in Boulder

February 13-15, 2008. More than 450 elite athletes will vie for national titles in the open, youth, adult and team events in the nation’s most prestigious bouldering competition. The 2009 National Championships will mark the tenth season of national competition for USA Climbing’s American Bouldering Series.

The Spot Gym and the Boulder Rock Club held the ABS 9 Series Championships last year. This year we expect more than 300 youth competitors and more than 150 in the Open/Citizen categories.

The event will facilitate the choosing of the U.S. National Team that will represent the United States

at the International Federation of Sport Climbing World Cup events.
