Another First-Quarter Shutout: KC?s defense did not permit any offensive points in the first quarter, marking the eighth time in 17 regular season games under Herm Edwards the club has accomplished that feat.

Gonzalez Extends Receiving Streak to 100 Games: TE Tony Gonzalez extended his franchise-record streak of consecutive games with a reception to 100 contests. That 100-game streak is the second-longest compiled by a TE in NFL history, trailing only the 150-game streak established by Cleveland TE Ozzie Newsome.

Turnover Stats: S Jarrad Page registered his fourth career interception. CB Tyron Brackridge forced a WR Andre Johnson fumble that was recovered by LB Donnie Edwards. Edwards now has 11 career fumble recoveries, including nine with Kansas City.

Sack Stats: LB Donnie Edwards now owns 23.0 career sacks, including 16.0 as a member of the Chiefs. DT Alfonso Boone recorded his first sack as a member of the Chiefs. He now has 11.5 career stats.

Injuries: WR Eddie Kennison (hamstring) and CB Patrick Surtain (shoulder).
