JAGUARS MAKE ROSTER MOVES; SIGN DT SETH PAYNE AND DE TYLER KING

The Jacksonville Jaguars have made four roster moves today, including
signing 11-year veteran defensive tackle Seth Payne and first-year pro
defensive end Tyler King.  The club released quarterback Tim Couch and
placed offensive guard/tackle Stockar McDougle on injured reserve.

Payne, 6-4, 292, reunites with the Jaguars where he played five seasons
from 1997-2001 after being selected by the club in the fourth round of
the 1997 draft.  Payne, who has played in 121 career games with 98
starts, has spent the last five seasons with the Houston Texans.   He
has 617 career tackles with 17.5 sacks.  He spent the final 11 weeks of
the 2006 season on injured reserve with a knee injury.

King, 6-5, 266, spent the 2006 season on the St. Louis Rams and San
Diego Chargers practice squads.  King was originally signed as an
undrafted free agent by Arizona in 2005 and he spent the season on the
practice squad.  He started 37 of 39 games at Connecticut and finished
his career with 165 tackles (103) solo and 19 sacks.

Couch signed with the Jaguars on July 29 after sitting out the past
three seasons.  McDougle suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon during
practice on Monday, August 13.
