(SFC) As Los Angeles is poised to become 2028 Olympic Host city today the bid committee has released their final video of the series "What's Not in the Bid Book" featuring LA 2028 Chairman Casey Wasserman and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti. The video recalls both their experiences as teenagers during the 1984 Games and special memories while taking a walk enjoying the sweeping views from the hills of Griffith Park, along the iconic Hollywood sign.

"I'm happy to share the final episode of "What's Not in the Bid Book," said LA 2028 Chairman Casey Wasserman. "Through this series we showcased pieces of LA that make my hometown so special, from the imagination of Hollywood to our innovative and fresh fashion to our healthy outdoor culture.

"In all of our episodes, and through the series itself, we showed that LA has a ready-made connection to the world's youth, which we will put at the service of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements."

A lot of passion went into this bid and with the Olympic Dream coming true again Wasserman reminisces about the energy at the LA Coliseum and Garcetti talks about witnessing history watching Carl Lewis' world-record-setting performances.

With a backdrop of breathtaking scenery their conversation turns to the future as they imagine ways in which LA 2028 can create new historic moments with a new generation of athletes and fans. The agreement to take the 2028 Games brought numerous benefits to hosting the event in 11 years both financially and for its legacy.

It will finally be declared host city in hours at the IOC session in Lima, Peru.
