(SFC) When people visit Los Angeles, it is not uncommon to for them to get overwhelmed with the many activities across the city. The options are endless. If you are looking to get some culture and fun while you stay in the city, you are in luck there are a few worth noting.

Here are some fun day-long activities you can immerse yourself in that will enrich your experience of visiting Los Angeles by ten-fold. They are small activities that can add to the fun of your visit while you wait for all of the Olympics activities to kick off in the next few years.

Rose Bowl Flea Market

During the second Sunday of every month visitors of Los Angeles can head over to neighboring city Pasadena to enjoy a day of shopping, food and fun at the Rose Bowl flea market. The market has been a staple for 45 years with more than 2,000 vendors. Locals love it and tourists love it even more. It is not unusual to spot celebrities browsing antique goods while you roam the endless aisles of goods, so bring your camera! There are also many one-of-a-kind finds that you can splurge on - an added bonus is the solid collection LA memorabilia. The size of the flea market make this a day-long activity that is not to be missed. Bring good walking shoes. 

Malibu Wine Safari

Where can you sip wine, pet wild animals and enjoy gorgeous scenery? Believe it or not you can enjoy all of this in Malibu. It is known for its pristine beaches, but many visitors do not know that there is also a hidden place that offers a delightful daylong wine safari via Malibu Wine Safaris. You can hop on to a tram and explore a 1,000 acre Saddlerock ranch and vineyard a few minutes from the ocean with friends. Intrigued? Visit 

Celebrity Bus Tours

When people think Los Angeles they think often think Tinseltown. To make their trips memorable they often head to Hollywood Boulevard to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood stars on the sidewalk. If you want to take it a step further, check out one of the many celebrity bus tours around the city to test your luck on celebrity sightings, even if you don't see one you will be able to see their stunning homes and many Hollywood landmarks from your favorite movies.   

Huntington Library

If you are a history buff and love to explore, make sure to list the Huntington Library as part of your itinerary when visiting Los Angeles. Located in the neighboring city of Pasadena, this hidden gem offers stunning botanical gardens and a massive collection of rare books and manuscripts of American history. You can spend an entire day looking at the various collections and immerse yourself in history. When you are done, you can head outside to the gorgeous botanical gardens and take photos of more than 120 acres of lush greens.
