(SFC) It was announced just yesterday that Los Angeles (LA) will host the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games by the LA Olympic and Paralympic bid committee in cooperation with the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

A film was released to kick off the announcement that was narrated by basketball legend and LA 2024 Athletes' Advisory Commission member, Kobe Bryant. His narration was set to the song "Freedom" by Pharrell Williams. The film flashes through to show some of the proposed Olympic and Paralympic venues including the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the STAPLES Center. The high energy film showcases the City of Angels' diversity of culture and geography.

"There are so many different cultures represented here, so many different ethnicities represented here, LA can be anything you want it to be...It's an opportunity to learn, no matter where you look," expressed Bryant.

In addition, LA's innovative, healthy, and active culture is highlighted against its breathtaking natural spaces. In two minutes the viewer will go from watching engineers working on a robot to yoga on the beach to boxing practice at Watts Tower. They will get a taste of LA, but will still leave them wanting more.

Bryant closes the film saying, "If you think about it, to have the Olympics here and to have so many different cultures represented, would be a beautiful story to tell," concluded Bryant at the end of the film.
