(SFC) A series of virtual tours was launched by Los Angeles (LA) 2024 to showcase the bid's innovative city-wide concept made up of four integrated Sports Parks. Los Angeles is bidding against Paris to host the summer Games.

The series starts off with the new renderings of the LA 2024 Downtown Sports Park. It highlights the existing, planned, and temporary world-class venues that are located in the Downtown Sports Park. Each and every venue was carefully selected to deliver an athlete-centered, high-tech, and celebratory experience for all participants, while also minimizing operational and financial risks.

Competition and non-competition venues located in the Downtown Sports Park include the following: City Hall, Grand Park, Galen Center, LA Convention Center, LA Memorial Coliseum, Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) Stadium, Main Press Center at the University of Southern California (USC), Media Village at USC, Microsoft Theater, Olympic and Paralympic Family Hotels at LA Live; Staples Center, and USC's Dedeaux Field.

In addition, the Downtown Sports Park, much like all the LA 2024's Sports Parks, is directly connected to the city's growing public transportation system. The Parks are also located in an integrated, singular secure perimeter, which will allow all attendees to walk effortlessly between venues and areas in a festive and safe environment.

"LA is the right choice for 2024 because our city can host the Games without having to build any new permanent venues or an Olympic and Paralympic Village. I am thrilled to share these virtual tours of our world-class venues, to demonstrate how LA 2024 is prepared to offer the lowest-risk and sustainable solution for the future of the Olympic Movement, and an unforgettable Olympic festival experience for everyone in 2024," expressed LA 2024 Chairman, Casey Wasserman.

Moreover, each Sports Park will feature sports showcases, dining, music, sponsor activations, and celebration Live Sites for both event and non-event ticketholders. Furthermore, athletes in every sport will have the chance to compete in front of full stadiums of engaged and passionate fans due to LA 2024's dynamic ticketing model, which will connect fans nearby the venues with available tickets in real time.

With the four unique Sports Parks located in Downtown LA, Long Beach, South Bay, and the Valley; LA 2024 will enhance the traditional idea of an "Olympic Park." These Sports Parks are designed to heighten the Games experience for all, while still delivering a substantial cost and operational benefits to the OCOG. This concept will ensure fans, officials, and athletes from around the world to enjoy LA's diverse cultures and geographies; while enabling Angelenos to fully experience the Games on their home turf.
