(SFC) LA 2024 bid Chairman Casey Wasserman takes viewers inside Universal Studios in the new video series "What's Not in the Bid Book" which shows the city's film industry and storytelling power.

Four of Hollywood's biggest movie studios, Disney, Fox, NBCUniversal and Warner Bros., in an impressive move have thrown their support behind the bid to help animate the city through film. Wasserman is a lifelong Angeleno and has a unique connection to filmmaking through his lauded Grandfather, Lew Wasserman, known for his long career in the film industry.

This new series will show the city through the eyes of Wasserman who will highlight some of its secret treasures such as its most scenic hikes, its most mouth-watering tacos, and its trendiest museums.

He commented, "I am thrilled about our 'What's Not in the Bid Book' video series because it allows me to share all of the reasons why I love the City of Angels, beyond sport. One of those reasons is LA's history as the global hub of movies and entertainment.

"Storytelling is what we do in LA, it's who we are, and it's one of the reasons our city is uniquely positioned to deliver a Games that sparks the imagination of young people around the world.

"Angelenos are creative, driven and always imagining 'what's next' and there's no better reflection of that than Hollywood. LA 2024 is excited and fully committed to putting the imagination of our most creative Angelenos at the service of the Olympic and Paralympic Movements to deliver a New Games for a new era."

Los Angeles is bidding against Paris to host the summer Games of 2024 as the race is tightening up down the final stretch. The IOC will select their final host city September 13th in Lima, Peru and may even award two editions within this campaign. A special working group is looking into the feasibility of clinching 2024 and 2028 at the same time with two highly desirable candidates.
