(SFC) LA 2024 received a huge boost as four of Hollywood's biggest movie studios, Disney, FOX, NBCUniversal, and Warner Bros., are lending their acclaimed creative talents to the city's bid efforts. They are ready to aid LA in bringing the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games back to the United States.

"Hollywood is a dream factory and a beloved creator of stories that inspire and entertain people around the world. The Olympic and Paralympic Games create stories, and linking the magic of the Games and Hollywood is a dream come true. LA as a city is communicating to the world - and to the world's youth in particular - every single day. We want to amplify the unique power of LA's storytellers to promote the Games like never before and to capture the imagination of a generation," expressed LA 2024 Chairman, Casey Wasserman.

With the support of these studios, LA 2024 wants to use their talents and unrivaled global reach to give the Olympics an exciting and fresh story that will engage younger people making them into lifelong fans.

"NBCUniversal is pleased to be part of LA 2024's bid to bring the Olympic and Paralympic Games back to Los Angeles. With the city's creative talent and imaginative storytellers, LA can bring excitement to the Olympic Movement and inspire future generations. Our diverse city is the perfect setting for a global audience to experience the Summer Games," commented NBCUniversal Vice Chairman, Ron Meyer.

They will play a critical role in LA 2024's pre-Games communication activity using leading-edge technologies and new media practices. LA 2024 will offer partnerships between the Olympic Channel and Hollywood's greatest storytellers, which will provide the International Olympic Committee (IOC) with a unique opportunity to promote the Olympic Movement in a new way.

Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO and LA 2024 Vice Chair, Bob Iger stated, "This industry is constantly changing, but the City of Angels will always be at its forefront thanks to the pioneering people and companies who choose to make their home here. That is what makes LA such an exciting environment to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Walt Disney once said, 'Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future.' It is a philosophy that guides the Walt Disney Company today, and a philosophy that is fundamental to every aspect of the LA 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games concept."

Warner Bros. Chairman and CEO, Kevin Tsujihara added, "We are delighted to support LA 2024 and contribute our storytelling and technical expertise to help design an unbelievable Games experience that will capture the imagination of the next generation."

LA 2024 is harnessing the city's entertainment and creativity to grow the Olympic movement, along with inspiring the younger generation across the globe. They are also using Hollywood's mass entertainment expertise to deliver a truly memorable Opening and Closing Ceremonies while setting a new standard for every Games to follow.
