SPORTELAmerica releases conference program
MARISSA FLANDERS (USA) / Sports Features Communications
(SFC) SPORTELAmerica is set to take place in Miami, Florida at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel from March 14-16, 2017. The Sports Marketing & Media Convention features international decision makers, representing world federations, marketing agencies, sports networks, internet and social media, production and content rights owners, and other business related to media business and sporting events.
The 3-day convention will feature expert panels and speakers throughout. The event will start off with a SPORTEL Expert Panel that will be in association with TV Sports Markets focused on discussing the many opportunities for sports agencies in Latin America. The panel will be moderated by TV Sports Markets Senior Reporter, Richard Welbirg.
The next day will feature two tech panels both in association with Sports Video Group and will be moderated by Sports Video Group Editorial Director, Ken Kerschbaumer. The first SPORTEL Tech Panel will be titled "OTT Sports and the Americas," focusing on the OTT services growth across North, South, and Latin America. The second SPORTEL Tech Panel will discuss the integration of Augmented Reality graphics and Virtual Reality coverage of live sports events.
On the last day of the convention will be a presentation by LaLiga President, Javier Tebas titled "Digital Strategy as a key factor for increasing the value of audiovisual rights."
