(SFC) Olympic bid city Los Angeles is reading to celebrate Christmas with its 57th annual Holiday Celebration on Christmas Eve featuring the sounds and dance of numerous neighborhoods and culture of Los Angeles County. There will be a fanfare of more than 20 choirs, dance companies and music groups entertaining the holiday spirit and is a Southern California tradition.

The three hour holiday show is free to attend and takes place at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at The Music Center and is set to be filmed on PBS SoCal KOCE bringing the celebrations directly to homes in the Los Angeles area. Around 3,500 to 5,000 spectators attend in person and the televised audience is expected at around half a million homes.

Cheryl Burke from Dancing with the Stars and Brian White from the upcoming new program Media will be hosts of the multicultural event. White said to the LA Daily News, "It really reminds me of what Christmas is about. Coming together to celebrate one event with people most of whom don't look like me but who are in the same frame of mind is inspiring and heartwarming."

"I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. So yeah, after my first time as host I find myself telling everyone 'Check it out!' To become more aware of what exists for us in L.A. is really an eye-opening experience to be a part of."

Los Angeles is world renowned for its entertainment industry and has a multitude of activities going on over the Holiday Season.

The City of Angels is bidding against Budapest and Paris to host the Summer Games of 2024 and the IOC will vote their final host city on September 13th next year.
