(SFC) The specialist design arm of JTA, JTA Design, has successfully launched the European Olympic Committees' (EOC's) new look during the 45th EOC General Assembly in Minsk, Belarus.

"I was delighted at the overwhelmingly positive reception that the look and feel received in Minsk, and the feedback from the wider sports industry has also been hugely positive," expressed Managing Director of JTA Design, Salva Ramirez.

In April, the EOC commissioned JTA Design to create a new feel and look that would more closely represent Europe and the role sport plays in unifying the continent. The result was a 50-piece mosaic centerpiece made up of blue and azure colors. The mosaic signifies the 50 members of the EOC.

Director Ramirez stated, "The EOC wanted a new identity that symbolizes Europe, and the centerpiece mosaic delivers exactly that. It represents how Europe is a mosaic of cultures on one continent and stresses the unity that the EOC provides to its member nations. Creating this look and feel was a collaborative process with the EOC and their input was sought and given at every stage.

The new logo was unveiled in a truly innovative ceremony in which every senior member of the 50 National Olympic Committees (NOC) in Europe placed one piece of the mosaic onto a plinth. Once the mosaic was complete the word work underneath was revealed to show the full logo.

In addition, JTA Design worked on the development of umbrella branding for the EOC's flagship events including the European Games and the European Youth Olympic Festival. They are also re-designing EOC's website.

"The EOC's new look and feel is a perfect example of how JTA Design's experience in the sports industry enables us to offer a tailored service to every client," commented Director Ramirez.

Before being commissioned by the EOC, JTA Design created a new look for the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). They are currently involved in digital design projects for the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), International Modern Pentathlon Union (UIPM), and World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC).

Chairman of JTA Design, Jon Tibbs added, "JTA Design is one of the most creative and professional design agencies operating in the Olympic world. Crucial to its success is the collaborative approach of Salva and his team, which is a hallmark of all JTA's client services. It means clients are kept fully up to date on the creative process and can give their input at any stage. The EOC's new look and feel is truly stunning and it reflects the vision and the potential of the EOC."

These latest achievements only strengthen JTA Design's position as a world leader in digital design and branding solutions for international sports organizations and federations.
